Hi! I am the President of the Olive Mission. I am a recent graduate from UofT with an economics degree. Passionate about getting involved with the community and hoping to help break down the stigma on homelessness in Canada. Excited to meet more passionate people!

Vice President

Hi I am the Vice President of the Olive Mission! I am currently in my last year of studying Business and Society at York University. I look forward to break the stigma of homelessness and reuniting our society while targeting the actual needs of homeless people.

Hello my name is Meenakshi Gopakumar, and I am a 5th year student in Biology at York University. I am the VP secretary for the Olive Mission! This year, I am focused on mastering the piano, painting as much as I can, and working towards good grades in my final year!

Hi! My name is Sarah Afiane and I am the Olive Mission’s VP/Director of Outreach. I am a fourth year student at the University of Toronto currently finishing up my double major in International Relations and Human Geography. I love to read on my spare time, particularly fiction novels. I am excited to meet all of you interested in joining our initiative!

Pursuing a masters of Management at the Schulich School of business, whilst in the attempts to crack CFA Level 2.

Hi! My name is Houda Abbas, and I am part of Olive Mission’s social media team! I am currently a fourth year, on track to complete my honours psychology bachelor’s degree at York University. I hope to help this club with its goal to raise awareness for Toronto’s Homeless Community as well as make a difference any way we can. Student from Kenya my passion is the environment I love working with wildlife especially conservation but I’m also very passionate about social justice issues and that’s why through The Olive Mission I hope to help spread awareness about homelessness and in some way make little positive changes along the way

I am a fourth year student in Political Science with Sociology minor at York university. In my spare time, I love to read about world history and go hiking. I am looking forward to being a part of the Olive Mission and help on raising awareness to Toronto’s Homeless community.
